Day 223

Headache free for the first time in a while today...so so happy about that!  I don't have to go to work until 9AM tomorrow...SO SO SO happy about that!

Connor and I had fun this morning.  After dropping Joel off at school we went on a park hunt and found a new one near a pool that we have not been to in our community before.  It was fun playing and watching Connor slide down the slide.  Then it was off to speech and then to a Vitamin Shoppe to get some EGC.  It is an extract from Green Tea that was recently reported to help re-grow bone....you KNOW I am all down with that!  So I got some and am now taking it, along with several other medications to hopefully help my arm re-grow the bone this time.  I have my X-ray tomorrow so hopefully there will be a nice picture on this blog to share with all of you!

After school and nap time, I took the boys out to our local park and they had fun blowing up these weird balloons and letting them go.  They make a weird sound and whoosh all over the place...they LOVE to then retrieve the winded balloon and bring it back for more fun.  As we were walking back from the park, my friend Tara walked up with her cutie pie baby AND a rice krispie treat for me...so happy!

She came into the house and we visited for a bit.  It was lovely!  She has been off visiting family in another state for a few WEEKS, so it was really nice to catch up!  After she left, I started making dinner.  Well, David came home and helped finish making the dinner.  What he didn't know was that IF you mix very un-ripe avacadoes with ripe ones, it makes for a REALLY crunchy, bitter, guacamole.  So off to our local diner we went to grab some dinner lol, it happens!  I saved the meat and put it in the freezer for a future dinner....oh well :-)

Dinner was really good and the boys each came home with a cookie, life was good!  They put on PJs and then we all snuggled, read stories, and then they went down to bed.  I am so thankful for my little family.  Things are rough right now.  Our planned vacation that we booked MONTHS ago is in jeopardy and I have been so distraught about it.  I just keep praying that it will work out one way or the other and that we can go, as a family, to some place relaxing and enjoy some good time together.  We shall see what happens, but when the U.S. Government is involved, not gonna lie, they are a bit indecisive as to whether or not we will get to go on a vacation...lol I know it sounds weird, but I HATE not knowing and flying by the seat of my pants....indecisiveness is NOT a trait that I have, nor would ever want....but patience is something I have learned and so I am trying to look at this trial as a patience trainer :-)  Well all, I hope you have a great Taco Tuesday and that happy moments are abounding in your lives!
