Today was a day of being grateful. I am so thankful for so many things in my life. My children are a blessing, my husband is a blessing, the fact that I lose things and am able to find them are blessings!
I lost my phone today, but then found it shortly after, so happy! The cleaners came to the house today and made my house beautiful. I look forward to the day when both of my arms are up and running again and then I can say that I made my house beautiful and did it for free! LOL
After Joel got done with school, we headed home and I headed upstairs to rest for a bit. I had a killer migraine today and yesterday. Hoping it goes away soon! I was so proud of Joel. He pulled an award he received out of his bag for completing his project that he did on Pearl Harbor. He cut out and glued the pictures himself and helped me choose what to write for his 3 sentences explaining what Pearl Harbor was. I am so proud that he is such an amazing reader! The teacher wrote "SUPER JOB!" on his little award and Joel was smiling from ear to ear when we told him how proud we were.
After Connor's nap, I took them to the babysitter and then hit the salon to get my hair done (I need to look my best for my hospital visit!) I love my hairdresser. She gives the most amazing massages of my neck during my hair wash....happy moment indeed!
After the salon, we all came home and I made dinner. We got to sit down at the table and enjoy some quiet family time while we ate broccoli cheddar soup in bread bowls...it was so good! It was bath and then bed time for the boys and now bedtime for me! Hope everyone else is enjoying the winding down of the week! Tomorrow I begin an exciting retreat adventure with the MOPS ladies...can't wait for the fun to begin!
