Day 200!! Saturday

Woke up at 7 AM this morning....dang it!  My internal clock for the kids worked a little too well today because there are no kids around and I really needed to sleep in!  We did breakfast and then met in a conference room to hear a speaker who came out especially for us.  She has been doing ministries in Uganda and had some incredible stories about that and gave a nice lesson on trials and growing stronger as women.  She gave us each a notebook that had been handmade by a woman in Uganda.  Each woman who makes these notebooks is taught how to read, given the Bible to read, and educated...does it get any better than that?  It is really amazing to have a book that came all the way from Africa.  On the front of the little notebook it says "pray for Uganda"....I will be.  I will think of those women every time I use that notebook to write down spiritual thoughts....can you guess what my notebook will be for General Conference next month?

After our spiritual speaker, we headed OUT to lunch and found a Denny's to sit and chat and eat.  We had such a nice time, and then it was back to our bedrooms for a much needed nap...SO much free time on our hands!

After nap time, it was time to dress up and head out to dinner to celebrate our friend Lauren's birthday.  We went to this fun restaurant in Old Town Temecula...what a neat place!  We had a nice table outside...it was a bit cold, but they brought heaters for us to sit under.  We had a great time chatting and talking about anything and everything....there was a girl, Jessica, who brought her baby, Nora, and she was passed from person to person...what a little snuggle bug!  Not gonna lie, she made us ALL want to have another one lol.  Some of us headed back early and headed to bed...there was talk of more hot springs fun, but in the end, we washed our faces, talked some more, and went to sleep.  Most of us mommies were really grateful for the relaxing time and extra sleep time that this weekend is providing us!  It was such a peaceful, quiet day!  I found time in the morning to pray, time in the afternoon to read scriptures and study the Relief Society History Book on my phone "Daughter's in My Kingdom", and pray at night.  I hope I am able to keep my focus on being able to do that once I get home as well!  Well, time for tomorrow to come and more happy memories to be made!

Can't believe I am 200 days into this!  So happy to be able to share each day and many happy moments along the way.  I have been so blessed by doing this blog!
