Well, I made it through the surgery and I am getting to type by myself! My arm didn't get paralyzed this time! SUCH an incredible happy moment for me to wake up and move my fingers and wrist! If that were the only happy moment that I typed on here for today, that would be enough, but there were other happy moments as well and here they are!
-I had so many visitors at the hospital AND I got get well balloons, a get well candy bouquet, AND get well cards! I felt so incredibly loved today. I could feel the prayers of my friends and family surround me and I felt very safe and protected.
My friend Amy came to the hospital and french braided my hair for me so I won't have to wash it for a few extra days.
My friend Jinkee came and brought some goodies for David as well...he felt loved!
I had the best time chatting with my friends and my parents tonight and I am just so happy that I was not alone. God truly answered my prayers about me feeling lonely and it was so nice to be surrounded by happy faces all chatting and talking. I am blessed with the friends I have! I am so grateful that I am doing as well as I am and that I will get to go home tomorrow! Have a good night and I hope you all can feel the joy I am feeling right now with all of the happy moments of the day! Why my surgery days seem to be the happiest days on my blog, I don't know. But I do know that I am alive, I am on the mend, and I am grateful!
