Well Sunday is here and tomorrow begins a busy week...usually I would be going to work tomorrow as well, but I am thankfully off this whole week and will hopefully be recovered enough at the end of this week to go back next Monday.
Today the boys and my mother-in-law went to Mass and I had an hour to myself and it was SO quiet! Trying to heal and recover with a 2 and 5 year old who fight, scream, cry, and whine is not happening to quickly, and my temper has not been that great today either, but hopefully with Joel at school, and Connor at playgroup, more napping for Mommy can happen.
I finished the Hunger Games, looking forward to starting book 2 tonight...hopefully I actually go to BED and not stay up till midnight and read like I did last night...that's what happens when a good book sucks me in!
David and I met my parents at a Mexican restaurant here in town and Cathy and the boys stayed at home. Cathy wanted to give us some time away from them...so nice! She had some really nice Grandma time with them and we had a nice time at dinner...even my mom noticed how much more quiet it was without the food throwing 2 year old lol. Then tonight as we put the boys to bed, Joel said such a beautiful prayer, and Connor snuggled on me and gave me kisses...oh how fun to be a mom!
Well, it is time to get ready for bed. Gotta load up on pain meds and head to sleep! Oh how I hope while I am sleeping that my arm is healing! I pray each day that this will have been the surgery to make the bone stick in place! Well, hopefully tomorrow I will have a few more happy moments. I basically sit in bed for hours on end right now, so not too many opportunities to get out there and be happy. BUT, if staying in bed, keeping an ice pack on my arm and pain meds in my system, is making my arm heal, then I will HAPPILY do it for the next month!
