Day 72

Hello all!  Well, I must say, it is REALLY nice having round the clock help here at the Mann household.  My morning routine is killing me and I HAVE an extra set of hands, so I don't know what I would do if I had to do this mommy thing by myself for 13 hours a day.  And having a nanny that many hours can get pretty darn expensive!  So yea for helpful mothers-in-law and happy moments that happen because I am able to make it through the day....sort of.

Busy busy day today.  I started out by going to Weight Watcher BY MYSELF for the first time in two years!! BLISS!  Getting to weigh in without Connor, getting to sit up towards the front with all of the people who have supported me and helped me through the last two years was so great!  That and watching my leader's face when I told her where I was last week...."ok your life is some sort of distorted reality TV show isn't it?" was her response.  That and since I was down 1.8 pounds I HAD to laugh at "well yeah you lost weight!  It's all the body parts you are having removed!" Glad she has the same sense of humor that I do :-)

My next happy moment came in downtown San Juan Capistrano today.  We had just finished eating lunch on the patio of a BEAUTIFUL restaurant on a BEAUTIFUL day when we were walking back to the car.  I was pushing Connor in the stroller and I had my purse on top of the stroller.  As we turned a corner, a very large Monarch Butterfly came out of no where, landed on my purse (I SWEAR it said "hello") and then flew off.  AMAZING!  It was one of the sweetest happy moments I have had in a long time.  In those few brief seconds I felt this amazing feeling of love surround me.  I don't know if butterflies landing on your purse is good luck or not, but I sure hope it is!

There were a lot of other wonderful things today like passing out at 3 o clock and taking a nap. Going to the movies with Joel and my mother-in-law was really nice as well.  Nothing can top that butterfly moment today.  I am going to be falling asleep tonight thinking about that fluttering insect of happiness!  It was just so nice!  Well folks, that's what I have for today and I hope this week continues to be full of small, itty bitty, happy moments!  They seem to be the one's that have the most lasting impact on my heart!
