Day 76

I don't know what it is about Saturdays, but they sure do make me sleepy!  I felt like I was walking around like a zombie all day long until I finally passed out on my bed for a few hours today!  Nap time is really one of my favorite parts of my day right now.  I guess it would be for anyone recovering from two surgeries in one month...really hoping that is the LAST of them for now, but we shall see what November brings me :-)

I love watching the TV show Maverick *singing* "who is the tall dark stranger there Mav-er-ick is the name.....poker is his game!"  There is just something about classic westerns that I LOVE! Could it be all of the horses and all of the riding that happens?  Could be.  I just love the cheesy lines and the clean cut cowboys...and some of the women from the 60's hairdos that are SUPPOSED to be a pioneer woman...HILARIOUS!

Ok speaking of hilarious, my cat, Aladdin is too funny!  He is currently wandering the halls of our home MEOWING as loudly as he can...for food of course.  He loves wet kitty food and there is no doubt what he is saying when he walks up to you, meows, and then BITES you on the leg if you turn away or ignore him!  Just now he was meowing at David and came over to me, looked back at David and I SWEAR his meow said "you get me some kitty food right NOW or Mommy's leg is gonna get it!" We were both laughing so hard.  David is currently down fulfilling his wish...he didn't want me to be in any MORE pain LOL  Animals, they lower your blood pressure, give you joy when you need it the most, and love you unlike any other person ever will....that is why we ask "how high?" when Aladdin says "JUMP!" :-)

Well, tomorrow is the start of another week.  As always, Mon-Wed are completely filled up with things to get done, work to do, or activities for the kids. It doesn't look like life is going to slow down for us anytime soon, but I sure do enjoy the fun times we have together.  I hope my children are enjoying our moments as well and will remember the happy moments we share.  Through it all, I have tried to keep their lives as normal as possible.  I pray everyday that I am making the right decisions and....LOL!  As I am typing this I see this little hand creeping around the corner and I say "Joel?" he pops up and starts crying "you SCARED me!"  I scared HIM?!  He was the one doing the creepy little hand dance LOL Oh dear...I laughed so hard I really hurt now.  Well, I hope you have enjoyed getting a little taste of the crazy life that is mine...must be doing something right.
