ARGH! So I started writing my post tonight and something happened with the computer. I am so tired already and had posted that I was tired...already! LOL Here are the happy moments in bullet form and then some pics from my day at the end. I am FOR SURE going to save it all this time before I try to add my pictures!
- We had a really fun day today. Joel had the day off from school and we had a coupon for our petting zoo down in San Juan Capistrano. My brother, his little girl, and my mom came along with us for an adventure! We had a great time feeding bunnies and guinea pigs. Then we fed some sheep and goats. The kids had a blast riding a train there and then they all took turns riding a pony. It was Connor's first time and he did such a good job! The kids got to play in a "corn" kernal box...SO much better than a sand box! After a few hours there, the kids, and the adults, were super tired and ready to head home. We made some wonderful memories and the boys had a great time playing with their cousin!
- Tonight was girl's night out! OR GNO as my two friends affectionately call it. One of my friends is pregnant, and we won't be able to do many GNOs for a while after her baby comes...but oh how excited we all are for that little baby girl to come! So we hit the town "mom style" and went first for pedicures...some of us got extra feet massages, one of us got a manicure....ALL of us had a lot of happy moments talking and relaxing in those spa chairs! Then we headed (in the same parking lot) to our local Mexican restaurant for some guacamole and tortillas. This particular restaurant has THE most amazing chips and salsa! It was so fun talking about everything from child birth to recent political scandals. I love those women!
- As GNO came to an end, in the same parking lot, we stopped by our local candy store that is having a grand opening tomorrow. The owners were busy with their kids putting the shop together, but she was nice enough to give each one of us a gum ball AND she let me try their new salt water taffy....we were in candy heaven! Such a fun thing to do...I think it is safe to say we all felt very spoiled tonight...as we should feel after working hard all week!
It was a great day and I cherish the happy moments I had! So, here are the pictures from today and good night to you all!..SO SLEEPY!
