Well hello Thursday! This week is just ZOOMING by! Might have something to do with the fact that I am sleeping through most of it, recovery has been slow going, but I am feeling a lot better than just a week ago so that is good!
One very peaceful, happy, moment for me today was getting to snuggle under a blanket and while I was starting to fall asleep, my cat came and stretched out on me. He crawled up onto to the top of my side and purred and nuzzled his way into my side. We both fell asleep for a little bit and it was SO nice! He kept me nice and warm and I couldn't help but smile as, when I took a peek, he had a grin on his face and his little eyes closed were so cute! Such a great happy moment!
While Connor took a nap today, Joel, my mother-in-law, and I all sat downstairs and ate popcorn and some Halloween candy as we watched the movie Rio. That is such a neat movie. It was really fun watching Joel laughing AND then while I was watching the movie, I checked out Facebook and saw a great post from David's cousin!
Remember the post of a happy moment being that people think of others, especially my friend and David's grandfather? Well the happy thoughts and prayers worked dear readers! Yesterday Papaw was all ready to be entered into a clinical trial for a specific type of kidney cancer. Today his biopsy results revealed that he doesn't have cancer at all! What a wonderful miracle! SUCH a happy moment for the whole family! When I talked to him on the phone I could hear that he was getting choked up talking about his experience. He has been so blessed by God and I am so appreciative of all who prayed for David's sweet Papaw!
Well it is bedtime for the kiddos. Just writing this blog took about 30 minutes tonight going back and forth between everyone. I am excited to change into my PJs and watch some TV tonight. Silence really can be golden and let me just say that, after a day with a TWO year old....a very very LOUD with a side of ATTITUDE 2yr old, I am really looking forward to my happy moment of ME time! Have a good night all!
