Day 90...3 months woo hoo!

Hello from my bedroom tonight!  My in-laws bought us a tablet for Christmas and it came really quickly, so we are able to use it early.  This is so wonderful to get to blog from this, especially since we will be gone this week for a little while.

So many happy moments today.  It was a good Saturday full  of cleaning and entertaining the kids.  We had the chance to walk over to one of the big parks today and hang out for a bit.  Joel played in the sand with a little girl after asking, "Can I play with you?"  It was so sweet and the kids had so much fun digging holes and sliding down the slide.  Connor wanted to do just one thing the entire time were there and that was to swing swing swing!  He even cried when it was time to go.  Just a couple of months ago, I couldn't get him to swing at all, and now he is a swing maniac!  He was giggling away and closing his eyes as the breeze caught his hair and blew it up.  He had such a peaceful look on his face and for one brief moment, I was back at my park near my old house swinging and feeling so free.  If only we could bottle some of those feelings from childhood and open that bottle in times of need :-)

Tonight we went out and celebrated a big accomplishment for my brother.  He passed the bar exam....what a happy moment for him!  It was nice to be together, eat some really amazing food, and spend some quality time catching up!

When we got home from dinner, we broke out the tablet and I was able to find a great virtual library to get magazines, new books I have been wanting to read, and upload some fun things for the kids.  Now, you may be wondering WHY we are using this and not just keeping it in a box until Christmas...well...would YOU do that??  AND, if I do have to have surgery....again....more than likely....I will be hospitalized for a few days and it will be so nice to have a TABLET to play games and blog and Facebook...although not sure how that is all going to work out while I am severely drugged on pain meds, but won't it be fun to find out?!  My arm is in pain and cracking like crazy tonight, so tonight I am having one of my realistic...hope for the best, plan for the worst, moments...again, wouldn't YOU if you were me at this point?

Well that is all that I have for you tonight!  It was a fun day and I am grateful to be able to have spent so much of my day with family.  Here is to a good night's sleep and then LOTS of fun coming up this week!  Night all!
