Saturday...such a nice day of the week! Today we didn't do too much because of the rain, but it is nice to slow down and not have a million things to do!
For starters, I met up with my mom, her friend, Joel, and Connor at a restaurant for a late breakfast/early lunch. We had a really nice time visiting. Then we came home and Connor went down for a nap. Joel was watching a movie and I did some virtual Christmas shopping. I didn't have to walk around, wait in line, or try to put Connor back in the car with one arm....such a HAPPY moment to get a lot of my shopping done online this year! Usually I am ALL about going out and looking at things, but this year, between being mostly one armed and really starting to flare....typing in my credit card information is a quick solution!
When David came home from his HOA meet and greet, I took Joel to the new candy store in town to visit their grand opening. What a wonderful place! It was so fun to walk around and see all the varieties they had! I see lots of cute little gifts for people at church, stocking stuffers, and teacher gifts in the very near future from that store! Joel WAS in fact a kid in a candy store lol. I got to see first hand the saying come to life! He was so overwhelmed by all of the choices and kept moving his hands over the candy just trying to PROCESS how much was there. TOO funny!
So those are my rainy day happy moments of the day. Not too much, not too little...just right for a rainy Saturday. It is really nice to start breaking out my winter clothes and get all snuggled in our flannel sheets. I hope you all enjoy the weather and keep warm with fuzzy blankets and warm fuzzy moments as well! TTFN
