Lookie who has internet service tonight! I never thought I would be at my home and not have service! I had a back-up plan for if I went on vacation and didn't have service. I was going to write down my blogs each day and then when I came home, type them in. But seriously two days here in civilization without the internet...during one of the busiest shopping seasons of the year! So wrong!
Today was a good day! I made progress with a lot of my kiddos at work. I happy to say all of them talked today, and that is so different from last week when only ONE kid said ONE word. But it all does start with just ONE word, so I'll take what I can get! Today they were talking their heads off! Looking at pictures and making sounds, pointing when I asked them to, such a dream for a speech therapist!
Tonight, as I was on my way to dinner with my family, I was sitting in my car on my street near my home. A man was walking a beautiful Golden Retriever and I asked if I could pet her. She was so sweet and completely loving! He kept saying "sorry she is slobbering on you." I told him not to be sorry and that I loved it! Oh I am so grateful for loving doggies! I hope my arm heals so that come this Spring, we can get our own red-headed doggie! I miss Daisy a lot during this time of night. All is quiet, the kids are in bed, and she and I would snuggle down on the couch to watch my favorite shows. The last show I ever watched with her was Bachelor Pad....too funny that I can still remember that. Never a sad moment thinking of that sweet doggie angel. She was just so so good to us. :-)
We had a nice family dinner tonight and then we came home and did a belated Family Home Evening. Tonight was the first night we were all together in the evening time. We sat around my phone and watched a Mormon Message. Luckily, I can post that link on here! So you too can see what we watched. By the end of our lesson tonight, Joel understood a bit more about the Bible and that it took some very good people to make sure we have those precious words to live by today. Such a fun time as well with Connor choosing the FHE song of "Popcorn Popping" Well, I am off to snuggle on the couch by myself, but maybe one of my kitty cats will stop by for a quick "hello" Have a good night all! The link for the message is just below....
