Yep, we stayed in our PJs until 10 today and it was great! We haven't had a PJ day in a really long time, and this morning it was really cold, so it was so nice to be snuggled in warm clothing for so long. As the kids watched TV downstairs I got ready and we headed out for the day around noon.
Our first stop was the new business my family just opened. We are hoping it is a big success and it was nice to see people trickle in and have a great family fun time there! The boys had fun playing with their grandparents, and I passed out flyers on cars and to people passing by. Every bit of help helps!
Later on this evening, David and I headed to his company's annual Christmas party. We had such a pleasant time visiting with people who I usually only get to chat with via Facebook. It was great to catch up with people on what they have been doing this year, and I had a great time laughing with the wives. Those women have been such an emotional support to be these past few months. We haven't gotten together as much as we would have liked to because of the crazy year, but I am looking forward to putting "see more people in PERSON" on my New Year's resolution list.
Dinner and chatting was the highlight of my day today! Such happy moments had with so many lovely people. It was nice to talk about the kids and everyone's children as well. We made plans to head to Legoland with one family really soon, and I promised everyone I would keep them posted on when my surgery gets scheduled. That is pretty much it for today! I am grateful for the fun moments today and happy there were many PEOPLE moments in my day. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
