Day 113 Foggy Brain!

There is just too much to do and too little time to do it!  Tomorrow I HAVE to pick up my pre-op forms!  If you are reading this and have my number...text me in the morning to remind me please!!  I have to find time to get my blood drawn...probably Wednesday in between seeing clients.  Thursday is Joel's Christmas program and a fun party that night.   Friday is my MOPS meeting and then driving to where I used to live to have lunch with my dear friend. Saturday is a family Christmas party.  Sunday I THINK is our congregations adult Christmas program.  Monday is my MOPS mom's night out ornament exchange and fun night out.  Then next Tuesday is a fun filled day of hanging out on the operating table and having various body parts moved to other parts of my body...that is going to be SUPER fun!

A really happy moment for me today was going to work and opening the door to my room and finding it WARM inside there!  The heater doesn't work in the room and I have hat all manner of hats, scarves, and gloves worn to stay warm while working with my kids.  We got a space heater and it is so much more enjoyable now!  I have lost my freezing cold dysfluency (stutter for you non-speech people but that is rude).  It was nice working with the kiddos today and to come home and have a nice meal prepared by my husband!  He loves to cook and on Mondays it is his turn for the cooking.  I still think my favorite meal of all time from him was the turkey-potpie made from scratch...so good!

It rained here for most of the day, so the kids and I enjoyed lots of snuggle time and watching various television shows.  Some kid's shows are just better than others.  Not sure what the maximum level of annoyance the creators of Sponge Bob were trying to reach, but it has been met and then some in our household.  Gee, can't imagine WHY Joel repeating the same words over and over and over for 3 days now have made mommy a little on edge lol.  I am SO going to remember these times when he becomes a parent!

Tonight was Family Home Evening at our place.  We just happened to have a lesson that had the hymn "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day." It was great to sing!  Then we read a nice Christmas story...well I am pretty sure Joel got something out of it.  At this point I am happy when Connor can actually attempt to just SAY Jesus.  But it was a nice time and hopefully lots more Christmas lessons to be learned!

It was off to bed for the boys and I just checked on them.  They are so precious being all snuggled down with their stuffed animals and blankies.  Those eyelashes are amazing on my boys!  So I am off to sleep as well!  Hope everyone has a great Monday night and enjoys their family time!
