Day 108

Wednesdays are busy days!  I work for most of the day and get a break in between.  It was nice to work and on my couple hour break, I had some lovely moments to myself and with Joel.

I have never eaten at a Panera Bread restaurant before, but now I just might eat there every day!  We used to live so close to a Corner Bakery Cafe, that we would often walk there for breakfast...AH the good old days of living in the city!  It isn't too bad of a drive, and Panera Bread really reminded me of Corner Bakery...only it's better!  I had a cup of soup and sandwich and enjoyed my lunch time reading an amazing book I just downloaded to my phone!  After lunch it was off to chop off my hair (the thought of washing longer hair with one arm for 2 weeks was really not that appealing to me so it HAD to go!)

I picked Joel up from school today and took him to Burger King for lunch.  We had a really nice time chatting about school and I love hearing all that he does during the day.  I love my talk time with him!  I had a friend back in the day who had two boys and told me that I always needed to take MY boys to a fast food restaurant and lay down the rules of love and life while they are young.  "Start out by saying, now boys, when you grow up, I want you to remember....(insert wonderful words of wisdom here)"  By the way it totally works!  Just ask my son what to look for in a girl when he gets married and he will tell you straight up, "she has to like some of the same things I do, go to church, and like to eat"....that's what I gave him so far...now IF he actually follows through on that advise someday...well...we will just have to give it a few more years! LOL
After my next session of work I met up with the boys at TGI Fridays for some more soup for dinner.  It is really cold and soup just sounds SO good!  LOL I am actually making chicken noodle soup for dinner tomorrow as well!  SOUP for me!  We had a great dinner and Connor behaved at the restaurant!  When he did get a bit loud I asked "do you want Daddy to take you to the bathroom?" (he gives him a little attitude adjustment there)  he said to me, "No, good boy!" Hopefully he keeps remembering to be a "good boy."  I am lucky to have such cutie pie boys!

Well tomorrow is Thursday.  Gotta do lots of things to get everything done this holiday season before my surgery.  It is scheduled for the 20th of December, so not much time left.  I pray this is the one that fixes that darn NON-union and finally allows me to be a mom, get healthier with working out, and being able to do lots of fun right arm things!  Hope everyone stays warm and cozy tonight!  Have a great night!
