Happy thoughts from the hospital!
First off, the surgery went well! And I didn't have a bone graft from my hip!! They took bone that had grown around my arm and inserted it into the gap in my arm. Happy me! Not only did I not have to have an extra incision, but I can walk without pain! That's what I call a Christmas miracle and I owe it to all of the beautiful prayers on my behalf!
Pictures coming soon of me in the hospital!
I slept for most of today and tonight David brought me some dinner from Sushi Plantation! I love the hospital food, I just can't cut very well right now and I had a hankering for sushi. :) Someone from our congregation brought my boys dinner. I am so thankful for thoughtful people!
David also brought me flowers and my little Connor for a visit tonight. I have been really lonely today so it made my heart smile to have my crazy two year old pushing buttons to have my hospital bed go up and down lol.
Well, I have now been given pain meds, a sleeping pill, and antacid. So to all I bid you a very happy drug induced night. :)
