Today was a busy day of running around, doing errands, working, and stopping at the doctor's office to try to plead for a date for the surgery...no luck today folks. Tonight, after work however, was a great family fun night!
We had a delicious dinner, made by David, and after dinner we headed out to view this amazing house that has some amazing Christmas lights we found last year. Last year all of us, Daisy included, piled into the car and found this house that has its own radio station where you can listen to the music and watch the lights, drink AMAZING apple cider flown in from Pennsylvania, and Ghiradelli brownies. This year we drove up to the house and started off with the amazing apple cider and this year had cookies! The music and lights were so pretty and this year we even got to go in and SEE the decorations inside the home. It was such a beautiful home! There were Christmas trees decorated, and they had just about every village that is available out and around the family room, living room, and dining room. There was such nice lighting in the home and it was really fun to see the boy's faces as they saw all of the little decorations. Family night was such a fun time and I am so grateful for Christmas traditions our little family has started. Joel wants to go every night lol we told him maybe again next week.
After we came home tonight it was time to get the boys ready for bed. They were so cute as they were getting ready for bed. First we came in and put together our next Lego piece for the advent calendar. Next we got the PJs on. Then it was time for songs, story time, and prayer time. Connor sat on my lap and let me sing to him for a full 30 minutes tonight! The little guy usually doesn't even let me get through the first verse of a song before he is off of my lap and onto something else! He just kept asking for more, so I just kept singing some more...oh how precious was that little guy curled up in my lap with his head against my chest. I said, "Mommy loves you so much Connor." I gave him a kiss and then he said, "Yeah." And he kissed my neck. HAPPY MOMENT! It is a great time to be a mom. It is a great time to celebrate traditions! Can't wait to see what happy moments come my way from my kiddos tomorrow!
