Day 111....well ok then!

I heard this amazing quote not so long ago, er, actually read it..." we teach that which we need most to learn"  how true is that?!  I teach people how to talk appropriately...not sure what that means for me, but I am willing to learn and figure it out lol.  Today has been an interesting day and I am happy to say I am headed to bed very very soon.  I woke up this morning feeling yucky, and it has stuck around with me all day long.  Maybe a good night's sleep will help with the yuckiness!

Lots of thoughts about today.  I had some good happy moments and I am happy to share them here.  I have been fighting the battle of the bitterness today.  That might explain part of the reason I haven't felt so well today.  If you let anger, bitterness, malice, in, you are going to not feel so great.  And how does the person you are FEELING this about feel?  Well, they don't know about it at all and so you wind up feeling yucky!  It was only for about 30 minutes today (over that emotional issue that I can't talk to many people about and have a really hard time processing it when I DO think about it or talk about it).  So I sat on the bed and mentally LET IT GO today.  It felt pretty good.  Then I started to get flu-like symptoms lol.  Not a huge fever, but achy and not feeling so great.  Hope there isn't a correlation!

So we were off to Legoland today to visit during their special Christmas time events.  Yes, I didn't feel good, but I pushed through it because Joel was so excited to go and David went on all of the roller coasters with him today...worked out really well!  We had such a joyful time there with the kids and Connor got to ride some rides with me, Joel got to ride some rides with me, and I got to bask in the glow of happy children at an amusement park!  They will only be little for so long, and I love watching their reactions to various rides!  Joel now smiles BIG time when he drops down a hill on his favorite roller coaster!  Connor giggles as we fly around corners on an airplane!  Joel is getting really good at steering a boat on another ride!  It was a super fun day and my two little ones were out cold by the time we got on the freeway...that's when you KNOW you had a good day!

We came home tonight and got everyone ready for bed.  Bedtime is still one of my all time favorite parts of the day....those little men in their soft winter pjs just melt my heart and I love stories, kisses, and prayer time.  Lucky lucky us to have these moments!  Well I am off to have a happy moment of going to sleep and hopefully waking up feeling better.  You know I love to eat! Well, today my intake consisted of a few bits of a rice krispy treat, a danish waffle type thingy (I figured it was as close to TOAST as Legoland was going to get for me on the BRAT diet), and some chamomile tea.  I am not hungry in the least but just really sleepy...so that is how I know there must be something wrong with me...lol Good night all!
