Day 110

Well it is almost 1 AM and here I am posting!  It has been a long day today but full of happy moments!  Time to do some bullets and then off to bed!
  • Went to breakfast with Connor this morning.  We had a nice time together and he was so happy.  A two year old melt down followed when we got home...but it was at HOME so that is ok :-)
  • Went to watch my brother get sworn in as an official lawyer tonight at the federal courthouse.  It was a great moment for him and it was nice to get to be there and watch it!  I know what it is like to be DONE with all of your education and paperwork lol...good times!
  • Following in his swearing in, the family went to dinner tonight.  It was really nice to sit around and chat for a while with the family.  Really looking forward to Christmas Eve when we do it again (although how MUCH of that I am going to remember remains to be seen...going to be VERY drugged up that night having just gotten home from the hospital 3 days before!)
  • After dinner I came home to hang out with my boys for a bit.  Connor and Joel got a bath...they are so funny splashing around and playing with their toys.  They love one another so much and are total giggle boxes sometimes! I love it!  After bath, we got them ready for bed....so cute in their warm winter PJs!
  • After the kids were in bed, my friend (my movie buddy) came and picked me up and off we went to see New Year's Eve at our local VIP theater.  Not being that hungry from just eating dinner, I got the WARM cookies and a diet coke...so good!  The movie was really good!  So many critics HATED it, to them I say...let your hearts of coal warm up a bit.  Seriously, there is so much negativity in people these days...find the joy people!  New Year's Eve was just plain GOOD, and there is nothing wrong with that...it was a happy movie.  It was so nice hanging out with my dear friend as well...she has two girls so it is fun to hear what SHE has to go through with them....makes me feel like I know what my possible daughter-in-law is going through right now...out there somewhere JOEL'S wife is throwing a two year old tantrum LOL
  • I came home and turned out all of my Christmas lights.  The house is nice and toasty warm.  Everyone is snuggled down in their beds, and I am looking forward to that myself!  Hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend!  I am really looking forward to tomorrow and all the things to come in the coming week...happy moments around each corner!
