Day 109

Well, another day down.  So tired tonight but I am looking forward to tomorrow and the weekend!  We FINALLY get to do our traditional Legoland Christmas visit this Saturday...gonna be a really fun time for us and the boys!

Today was good, but busy.  Connor was off to speech, Joel went to school, and I made a quick trip to Starbucks for a hot chocolate and their pumpkin scone...so good and only available this time of year!  I got to sit and read a newspaper for a full 10 minutes!  I read about world news and felt my brain cells ACTUALLY perk up a bit!  I miss being a well informed human being!  I still follow politics in this country at a pretty good clip, but reading about what is happening in the world seems like a LUXURY...really?  Guess I now know why housewives of the past were all about gossip...had to create their OWN news outlets lol.  So after my news and hot chocolate break I went back and got Connor and put him down for a nap.  When Joel came home from school, we headed to the mall to take pictures with Santa!  Joel got to tell Santa what he wanted, and the picture came out kind of cute!  Joel is going through a time where he barely smiles, and doesn't like to look at the camera, so I will take what I can get these days!  But here is is:

After some window shopping and puppy perusing, we headed to our favorite restaurant that has Crepes and we enjoyed a nice time together.  Ok, on a funny note, the guy taking our order BARELY spoke a lick of English and when I ordered the turkey and cheese CREPE he asked "do you want lettuce and tomato on it?" I said, "on a CREPE?"  He said, "yes!"  So I said, "EW, no I don't want lettuce on a crepe...it's a crepe place....I want a CREPE, CRAAAAAAAPE..." LOL the girl working there came up and asked, "oh do you want a crepe?" um yeah ya think?  Who wants a sandwich....OR lettuce for that matter, at a crepe place?!  LOL it was pretty funny and I felt bad for enunciating CREPE because it was like one of those old ladies who speaks loudly in a foreign country as if the person is deaf when they simply speak a different language.

We had a really fun time at the mall and the boys were so well behaved!  We visited a lot of stores tonight, didn't buy one thing, and had a great time!  David came home later and we all got the boys ready for bed together.  It was a really nice night...oops, forgot to brush the boys teeth!  Gotta do that in the morning!  After the boys went to bed, I took a bath and watched Gilmore Girls on my portable DVD player...such a good way to unwind!  Hope everyone is getting their shopping and Christmas cards done!
